Former WWE Divas, Trish Stratus and Lita appeared on Live Audio Wrestling just moments ago. Read our recap below:

They are asked what they’re up to. Trish says they’ve been talking for a while about ideas to do together. Amy says they both knew they were retiring and wanted to go out with a bang. They went to many different roadside attractions like Graceland & the Alamo. Would joke and say, “What are they going to do? Fire us?” Traded DVDs with each other, especially Mexican horror films and Mexican wrestling films. Trish says she called Lita and they’re working towards doing a wrestling movie together — an homage to Mexican wrestling films. Opportunity just came up suddenly. Lita says she wants to expose modern wrestling fans to this genre. Host says you get matches in these movies, that they’re like superhero wrestlers vs monsters. Very over the top and campy. Lots of chatter about different Mexican wrestling films. Trish says they will be the wrestling women in the movie. Made mention of a wrestling move done by an actress in Iron Man 2. Lita says the project is in very early stages.

They next take phone calls. Britney wants to wrestle, but has been told she’s too little, even though she’s about Rain’s height. Advice? Trish says things might hurt a little more but she’s not too little.

Last night Lita, accompanied by Trish Stratus, attended a local event in Toronto, Ontario headlined by legendary Luchador el Hijo Del Santo. After the event, Right After Wrestling’s Arda Ocal caught up with Lita, who told him that she plans to open up a Lucha Libre themed restaurant in the Atlanta area. Her band, the LuchaGores, are currently on hiatus, as other members of the band have other endeavours they are currently focusing on. Lita also has movie projects on the horizon. She is in town visiting Trish Stratus to speak about upcoming business projects.

As of right now this is just hear say but how cool would it be for Amy to open a restaurant and as for the movie project on the horizon i would think that is what she is seeing Trish about this weekend but we will no by next time to morrow.

Last night Amy’s close-friend Trish Startus post a new Twitter on her official Twitter (trishstratuscom) this message

“Guess who’s coming to stay with me this weekend? Only my biggest wrestling rival…we got some ‘bidness’ to take of!”

And now Slam Wrestling is reporting that LAW (Live Wrestling Audio) recently made the announcement that their in-studio guests this Sunday would be Amy and Trish. So what could these two be up to a new movie, music, wrestling? i guess we will find out on Sunday.

Earlier this week, The LAW (Live Audio Wrestling) made a big announcement that this Sunday’s in-studio guests would be Trish Stratus and her long-time rival and close friend Lita (aka Amy Dumas).

SLAM! Wrestling contacted Trish to ask her more about this rare appearance. “We have a few meetings in Toronto about us possibly working together on a project,” Stratus teased.

It has also been whispered that Trish and Amy have been invited as special guests to “Santo Sangre: A Dark Night of Lucha Libre,” which takes places at the M2 Gallery At Burroughs (639 Queen St West). This will be El Hijo del Santo’s first-ever wrestling appearance in Canada and will also feature the El Lucha Monstruo Art Show.

Of course, we’re wondering if there is a connection somewhere in all of this… Looks like we’ll have to watch Trish’s Twitter page (@trishstratuscom).
